Qué es el Marketing en Internet ? marketing significa textualmente acción en el mercado. El marketing en Internet es entonces realizar acciones en el mercado mediante la red de redes.

El marketing en Internet abarca actividades y estrategias como:

Marketing online: marketing en la Web, marketing de sitios Web,

Marketing social: marketing en redes sociales, utilización de sitios sociales como Facebook, Twitter y blogs,

Email marketing: marketing por email, newsletters, boletines electrónicos,

Marketing en buscadores: SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization): optimización para buscadores y posicionamiento en buscadores,

Marketing de afiliación: también llamado marketing de afiliados, programas de afiliados, programas de asociados y alianzas estratégicas o joint-ventures,

Marketing de artículos: marketing de contenidos, copywriting, redacción para la Web.

La estrategia de marketing que se aconseja siempre para emprendedores y pequeños negocios es el marketing de nichos: un nicho es un segmento de mercado con un problema específico. Los pasos sería tres: identificar el nicho rentable, crear un muy buen producto o servicio y finalmente entregarle lo que el nicho quiere.

La mezcla de marketing en Internet a utilizar en cada caso para cada empresa y producto o servicio, dependerá siempre del segmento de mercado elegido.
